Completing an Individual Assignment is a great way to practice presentations and demonstrate your skills, and get feedback for improvement. To walkthrough an example assignment, click Continue in the box below. Click the arrows in the corner to view full screen.
Individual Assignments are made up of multiple different features, described below. Depending on how the assignment you are taking is configured, you may or may not have access to all the features described.
- All assignments contain instructions. This is where your instructor explains to you what is expected from you as you complete the assignment. These instructions may also contain embedded or linked content for you to look at before you start work on your assignment.
- Your instructor may choose to include a video as part of their instructions.
- If your assignment contains Learning Objectives, you can find them here. Learning Objectives are items that you are expected to include in your video submission.
Prior to proceeding with the rest of the assignment, you may need to answer reflection questions to help guide your thinking for the assignment. To learn more about Reflection Questions, click here.
You can add videos in 2 ways:
- Record directly in platform: You can record a video within the platform itself, giving you options to record your webcam and/or your desktop. If your assignment does not require video, you can also choose to record your audio only. We recommend recording directly in order to get the most out of Bongo!
-
Upload Video: You can upload videos from your device, or from one of the following cloud storage platforms: Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox. Maximum video file size is 20GB and the maximum duration is 120 minutes. The acceptable formats are: asf, avi, flv, m4v, mov, mp4, m4a, 3gp, 3g2, mj2, wmv, mpg, mpeg, wma, mod, mp3, mts, qt, f4v, m2v, wepm, ogv, mxf, vob.
Once all video content is added, you can combine videos into a single video file for submission if needed.
You may be directed to schedule a meeting with our web conferencing tool, Virtual Classroom. You will have access to Virtual Classroom communication and presentation tools. These virtual meetings can also be recorded and submitted to the assignment.
You can also add files and links. Simply click the Add Attachment button below the video section and click the File or Link icon. Max file size is 100MB. Allowed file types are doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf, txt, rtf, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, zip, ppt, pptx
If you need to submit an unsupported file type, put the file(s) in a zip folder to upload.
