Learners: Explains how to access your assignment or course within Bongo. After you have accessed Bongo, we recommend checking your system before completing your assignment and reviewing the getting started article.
There are two different ways to access Bongo as a learner. View the information below to learn which one applies to you.
How do I know if my account is Integrated?
Most assignments within Bongo are integrated, which means you will access Bongo through links located within your Learning Management System (LMS).
Examples: Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Blackboard, MindTap and Sakai
To access Bongo, you will need to click on the assignment links provided to you by your instructor within your LMS. By clicking on these links, you will be automatically logged in and registered. You will not need to use a username, password, or class code. For the exact location of these links, you'll need to contact your instructor.
We have provided some example screenshots of where you may find the links within your LMS.
In Brightspace/D2L, you will be able to access the video assignments by clicking on the assignment link within the Content tab.
From the Learning Path in MindTap, you will see multiple assignments. If your instructor has included a Bongo assignment, this is where you would access it.
Click on the assignment, and you'll complete the activity within Bongo.
The instructor may have learners access the Bongo assignment under the assignments tab or place it in a module.
The links are typically listed under the assignments page.
These links are typically embedded deeply within their Weekly Content.
Some instructors may have a generic link to Bongo located in their menu.
How do I know if my account is Standalone?
Some courses are accessed through a Standalone environment, simply meaning, you will need to create an account through a link provided to you by your instructor.
After clicking on the log-in link provided to you, you will need to use your Google account for login or select Create Account.
