How to Complete Interactive Video

Completing an Interactive Video assignment is a great way to test your understanding or complete a training. The steps below* outline how to complete this type of assignment.

*Depending on how your instructor has set up your assignment, you may not see some of the steps below.

Begin Assignment

After clicking Begin Assignment, prompts appear at various points set by the instructor. You will either answer multiple choice questions or give video responses.

Multiple Choice Questions

Depending on the instructor’s settings, the multiple choice questions are in 1 of 2 modes:

  1. Forced retaking - Requires you to rewatch the preceding section of the video if you select the incorrect answer.
  2. Automatic grading - Grades any multiple choice question automatically. Video responses are graded manually and incorporated into the final grade.

Video Responses

When prompted for a video response, you will record a video within the platform.

Discard.png You can discard your response and try again before clicking Submit Video.

Continue until you have both completed the prompts. Progress is saved, so you can complete the assignment in multiple sittings.

When finished, the assignment is submitted automatically.

Question Summary

After submission, you can view the Question Summary, which lists the multiple choice results* and submitted videos.

*Depending on your instructor’s settings, the Question Summary may be limited to hide the answers for multiple choice questions.

Peer Review

If your instructor requires peer review, you will review your peers’ video responses.
