Indicates the customer-facing features and changes included in the Bongo 25.2 update, released on July 24, 2025.

Smart Scoring now supports videos submitted in additional languages in both Individual Project and Q&A. The following languages are now supported: English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese.
If a learner submits a video to an Individual Project in a different language than the configured learning objectives are in, the Smart Score results will have an option to show the learning objectives in either the original configured language or the language that the submitted video used.

Bongo no longer uses cookies to handle user sessions. Usage of cookies previously caused issues when Bongo was embedded in another learning platform and 3rd party cookies were blocked by the browser. Most users no longer need to enable 3rd party cookies in order to use Bongo when embedded inside another learning platform.
3rd party cookies are still required when using Bongo through Brightspace using the Safari browser.

The Individual Project, Group Project, and Q&A assignment types now have the option to show or hide pre-submission content from the reviewers.

This new option is available in assignment configuration. Enabling the option allows reviewers to see learner progress before they submit. Disabling it restricts reviewers to only see the final submission.

If this option is disabled, reviewers will see a simple ‘Assignment not Submitted’ message if trying to access a learner before they submit.

If this option is disabled, reviewers will not have access to any unsubmitted content when reviewing the final submission.

The color of text can now be customized when configuring the instructions fields for an assignment.

Various screens in Bongo that were using an older look and feel have been updated to match the rest of Bongo.
