Indicates the customer-facing features and changes included in the Bongo 24.3 update, released on November 7, 2024.

The configuration experience for the Individual and Group Project assignment types have been updated to a new step-by-step workflow that reorganizes options so that they can more easily be found. This new experience matches the one previously made available in the Q&A assignment type.

A new option is available when configuring an Individual, Group, or Q&A assignment, which allows you to show instructor feedback before evaluation.
If this option is disabled, learners will not be able to see instructor text or video comments until the evaluation has been published to the learner.
This option is enabled by default, which matches the previous behavior where instructor text and video comments are immediately made available to the learner.

If configured, Bongo can now recognize and support course subdivisions or sections from the LMS.
When subdivisions are used, learners will only be able to do peer review with other learners in the same subdivision.
When subdivisions are used, automatic group formation and learner formed groups will only group learners together if they are in the same subdivision.
If instructors are included in a subdivision, they will only be presented with learners from the same subdivision when viewing the assignment overview screen or the group management screen.
If instructors are not included in a subdivision, the assignment overview screen will be able to be filtered by the different subdivisions, and the learners will be labeled with their subdivision on the group management screen.

When creating a new assignment, the Peer Review option is now disabled by default. This change was made to make peer review an ‘opt in’ option and is not accidentally enabled when not desired. This change only applies to newly created assignments, not copies or existing assignments.

The D2L quicklinks for both Video Assignments and Virtual Classroom have been updated to better match the experience in the rest of Bongo, as well as work better in the small quicklink dialogue.
Assignments can now be directly copied during the quicklink process.
There is a new quick search that can be used when linking an existing assignment or meeting.

The instructor experience when modifying a Q&A Smart Score result has been modified to more clearly convey the updated score and allows instructors to make multiple changes before saving or publishing the new score.

AI Coach feedback has been altered to be more balanced when compared to Smart Score results. Specifically, instances of AI Coach giving overly critical feedback when the user received a good result from Smart Scoring have been improved.
