Explains how to record and access Virtual Classroom meetings. If you're looking for information about the attendance log, please refer to the bottom of this page.
In the Virtual Classroom meeting space, moderators will have access to record the meeting. If you did not schedule the meeting, you will not be able to click the Record button.
You may have the option to record automatically. If you select this option when scheduling, your Virtual Classroom meeting will start recording when you enter the meeting room.
If your meeting is not automatically recording, click the Record icon at the top of the screen.
You will see Recording in red text at the top of the screen.
When you are done with your meeting, you can click the Recording icon again to stop.
Once you have recorded a meeting, it will appear in your Individual Project or Group Project assignment. You can edit the name, combine it with other videos, and make it part of your final submission.
If you are looking for a lecture or meeting recorded by your instructor, you can most likely access it within your calendar or under the Content section. If you do not see it, please contact your instructor directly.
When reviewing your meeting recording you will see:
- Shared Desktop Video
- Webcam Video
- Files Uploaded as a Presentation
- Chat Log
- Uploaded files within the Chat Box
As an instructor, you can access the attendance log for a recorded Virtual Classroom Meeting. Depending on your organization’s setup, you may or may not have access to this feature.
To access the attendance log, click on the vertical ellipses located next to the recorded meeting.
Here you will have access to the participant’s name, role (or anonymous if they joined via an external link), minutes of the session they attended, and amount of chat messages they submitted.
