Demonstrates how to share and display webcams in the Virtual Classroom meeting space.
Quick Tips
- Users completely new to Virtual Classroom may want to read the general overview here. Also, please be sure to review our Basic System Requirements, Bandwidth Requirements and Common Troubleshooting Solutions.
- Display settings such as Focus will only change your view within Virtual Classroom and will not affect other participants' views.
- Up to 10 webcams can be shared at one time.
- If you are experiencing network issues or poor performance, you can disable webcams being displayed to you in Virtual Classroom Settings.
To start, click the Share Webcam icon.
Pro Tip
After clicking on the Share Webcam button, you will need to Allow Bongo access to your webcam when prompted. NOTE: You may also need to Allow access to the camera in your system Privacy settings.
Now other Virtual Classroom Participants will be able to view your webcam.
Focus
When there are multiple webcams being shared in a meeting, you have the option to focus on a single webcam. This will enlarge the chosen webcam and reduce the others.
To focus on a single webcam, click the ellipsis menu located in the lower right-hand corner of the webcam and click Focus. This will not affect other users.
If you are accessing Virtual Classroom on a mobile device, start by tapping the Share Webcam icon located in the bottom right corner.
After giving Bongo permission to access your webcam and clicking "Start Sharing," Virtual Classroom participants will be able to view your webcam.
Focus
